National Taiwan Museum
The NTM, established in 1908, is the oldest natural history museum in Taiwan. Its mission has been to research, investigate, archive, exhibit, and educate, in relation to artifacts and specimens in the fields of anthropology, geology, zoology, botany, and museum studies as they relate to Taiwan. The “Land Bank Exhibition Hall of NTM” was officially opened in 2010, and the “Nanmen Park of NTM” was officially opened in 2013.

National Museum of Prehistory
The National Museum of Prehistory (a.k.a. NMP) is not only the first museum based on the themes of prehistoric and indigenous (Austronesian) cultures in Taiwan, but also the first museum that includes an Excavation Site, nature and wildlife park.
The five major permanent exhibitions delivering spirits of Prehistory and Austronesian cultures, have also attracted many visitors.
Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center
The Buddha Memorial Center (BMC), located in the Dashu district of the Taiwan's Kaohsiung city and covering an area of 100 hectares is officially opened in December 2011. Venerable Master Hsing Yun constructed the BMC after he received the Buddha’s tooth relic, a precious religious heritage. The BMC has become a unique and comprehensive museum that promotes life-long learning based on the idea of being “people-oriented.”

Chimei Museum
Wen-Long Shi founded Chimei museum inside Chi Mei Corporation in 1992. Relocated and reopened at Tainan Metropolitan Park in 2015. About 4000 exhibited items of Fine Arts, Musical Instruments, Arms and Armour, Natural History & Fossils, Rodin Gallery, Sculpture Halls, and Special Exhibition.

National Museum of History
Founded in 1955, the National Museum of History was the first public museum to be established after the central government moved to Taiwan. The museum is renowned for its oracle bones, bronzes, tri-colored pottery, coinage, and contemporary calligraphy and painting, as precious antiquity as they are which constitute the finest and main collection in Taiwan.
